Functional Specifications
The radar detection system consists of a radar main unit and control terminal software. It is primarily designed for the detection and tracking of low-altitude UAV targets, capable of outputting real-time target data including range, azimuth, altitude, velocity, longitude, and latitude, thereby providing precise cueing for electro-optical (EO) systems.
System Configuration
- The system can be deployed in a fixed position for stable detection and tracking of UAVs within a designated airspace, or configured as a four-panel array to achieve 360° omnidirectional coverage.
- It supports integration with EO systems to guide target identification, as well as coordination with jamming and spoofing systems to enable comprehensive UAV control and neutralization.
- The system offers flexible deployment options: it can be mounted on vehicle roofs to serve as a mobile monitoring station, or installed at fixed locations such as building rooftops to function as a stationary surveillance post.
Operating Mode
The four-panel array radar operates in a 360° low-altitude surveillance mode. In this mode, upon receiving the command from the display and control terminal software, the radar main unit performs continuous electronic scanning across 360° in azimuth. During the azimuth scan, it simultaneously executes phase scanning in elevation to cover an airspace of 0°–30°. Upon detecting a target, the radar initiates track formation, maintains continuous tracking, and reports the detection results to the display and control terminal.
